Cast and Crew

Mya is SO happy to be in the cast of Anastasia as Anya/Anastasia. She was in Alice by Heart as the Queen of Diamonds, and was in many Junior High productions. She is so thankful to her mom and dad for convincing her to audition, her friends (in and outside of theater) for supporting her throughout the production, and her Aunt Tracie for all her effort helping with her singing. She would also like to thank her family for all (lots and lots) of the transportation throughout the production.

Eli Scroggins is a sophmore in highschool and this is his first spring production with PHS Theatre! He was Alfred in Alice by Heart and is very thankful to play such an important role in this show! He would like to thank his family for all of their support and his friends for always believing in him.

​Ashton Cain is a freshman in the PHS Drama department and this is his first spring production with the program! In the past he played the Baker in Into the Woods Jr. and Dormouse in Alice by Heart. He would like to thank his squirrel parents in the North-Western provinces of Canada and his ACTUAL parents for always supporting him no matter what he chooses to do.

Christian is a senior in the PHS Drama department and is happy to be playing the role of Gleb. Previous roles include ensemble in Beauty and the Beast, Miles Tuck in Tuck Everlasting, Luke in the Lightning Thief and The Mock Turtle in Alice by Heart. He is a proud member of the Pride of Pickens band and the President of the PHS Chorus and plans on majoring next year in music education at Reinhardt University. He would like to thank his friends and family for their support, especially Mrs. Harbin for all her support.

Ava Harrison is a sophomore this year and is very excited to play Countess Lilly. This year, she has been a part of All-State Theatre's dance corps at thescon, been in a movie musical through Atlanta Workshop Players, and was recently accepted into the Governor's Honors Program. She would like to thank her family for supporting her dreams and for walking with her through her journey. She would also like to thank her amazing director Mrs. Harbin for her love and support throughout everything. She hopes you enjoy the show. See you in the land of yesterday!

Kaylee is a sophomore in the PHS Drama Department and plays the role of Dowager Empress in this production of Anastasia. In the past, she has played Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins Jr and Queen of Hearts and the Red Cross Nurse in Alice by Heart. She would to thank Willow Duncan for writing this bio.

Makenzi Childers is a Sophmore in the PHS Drama Department. In the past she played Ensemble in Alice by Heart, Cheryll in Challenger, Judy in A Simpler Time, Helen and Madea in Greek Mythology Olympiaganza, and Ensemble in Ada and the Engine. She would like to thank her family and friends for being supportive of her endeavors.

Brandon is a Junior in the Pickens Drama Program and is playing the roles of Tsar Nicholas and Leopold in this production. In the past, he has played the roles of Poseidon and Medusa in Percy Jackson, Ensemble in Ada and the Engine, King of Hearts, Jabberwocky, and Dr. butridge in Alice by Heart. He would like to thank Mrs. Harbin and his parents letting them participate in this musical.

Knox is thrilled to be playing the role of Young Alexei! He has previously appeared as Chip in Beauty and the Beast and Reginald McNair in Challenger: To Touch the Face of God. Knox is looking forward to performing in many more roles as a Dragon. He would like to thank his Momma, Dad, Mammy, Nanny & Pa, and God for always supporting him and taking him to rehearsals and never missing a show.

Aubrey is very excited to be apart of the Anastasia cast, you could say she has been “dying” to do this show (Romanov pun). She was previously in the latest production of Alice by Heart. Anastasia has always meant a lot to her and her mom as it was a family favorite of theirs growing up. She would like to thank her mom for always supporting her dreams and helping her achieve them, and is honored to be able to share this with her. And most of all she would like to thank the cast and crew of her great friends for making this such and enjoyable experience and Mrs Harbin for putting her heart and soul into this show and making it that much more special for all of us.

Sydney is a Junior in the Pickens Theatre Program and plays the roles of Ensemble and Duchess Tatiana in this production of Anastasia. In the past, she has played the roles of Winnie Foster in Tuck Everlasting, La Fille de Ville in Beauty and the Beast, and Alice in Alice by Heart. She would like to thank her friends and family for all their support during her theatre endeavors.

Stella is so excited to be apart of the wonderful cast of Anastasia. You may have seen her as Young Alice/ensemble in Alice by heart as well previous show at PJHS. Stella has also been dancing at Get To The Pointe for almost 11 years now and has enjoyed getting to choreograph with her amazing partner in crime Ava Harrison as well as share her passion for dance with everyone in the cast. She would like to thank her family, her friends and Mrs. Harbin for making this all happen.

Willow is a sophomore and this is her third production with PHS Theater. In the past, Willow has played the roles of Annie in Annie Jr., Winifred Banks in Mary Poppins Jr., Tori in It’s Not You, It’s Me, Caterpillar 1 in Alice by Heart, and Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast. Outside of theater, Willow participates in the PHS Band, playing oboe, the Pride of Pickens Marching Band, playing percussion, and chorus. Willow would like to thank her family and friends for all of their support she gets from them in everything she does.

Nevaeh Trowell is so happy to be joining the cast of Anastasia as Duchess 2, Comrade 3, and Policeman 2. She has been apart of shows such as Alice by Heart as Ensamble. Challenger: To Touch the Face of God as the scientist. And the skit “Selfie Portrait” from A Simpler Time as Lady Winthrop. She is so excited to be apart of such a wonderful group and show.. Nevaeh is so happy to be so greatly supported by her family, especially her mom who picks her up from long rehearsal days, and listens to her talk about everything that happened during rehearsal on the rides home.

Haydn is a sophomore in the PHS Theatre and plays the role of a Duchess and Ensemble in this show! In the past she has played the roles of Prudell in Princess and the Pea, A Trojan in The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza, and Ensemble in Beauty in the Beast. She would like to thank her Dad and Grandmother for allowing her to join this community.

Vanessa is a senior at Pickens High School. She has stage managed seven shows since her sophomore year. She has played minor roles prior to this production such as the Toad in Tuck Everlasting. In this production she is playing the role of Romanov Ensemble and other minor roles. She thanks everyone who came out to see this production.

Henry is so excited to be a part of Anastasia! This is his first spring musical at PHS, and he has had so much fun already in theater and his freshman year so far. His notable roles include Mordor Grim in The Bubble Gum Murders and the Wolf in Into the Woods Jr. at PJHS and the Mad Hatter in Alice by Heart at PHS. He would like to thank his family for their support, the hard-working volunteer Booster Club for holding everything together, his fellow thespians for making his year so much fun, and especially Mrs. Harbin for bringing it all to life on stage.

Nex is a Sophomore in the PHS Theatre and plays the role of Ensemble in this production of Anastasia. In the past he was Sound Crew in Ada and the Engine, Ensemble in Beauty and the Beast, Ensemble in Alice by Heart, and Ronald McNair in Challenger. He would like to thank Mrs. Harbin for her amazing guidance.

Farah Jones is a senior Thespian in PHS Theatre and is excited to be performing in what is her first spring musical! She has been in countless productions both on and off stage in her time at PHS and PJHS. She currently serves as the Troupe 5736 President and she has just finished her term as the Georgia State Thespian Officer Advocacy Liaison. This fall, she will be attending the University of Georgia to pursue her degree in Political Science with the intentions to work in education policy and legislation. She would like to thank her family and fellow STOs for enduring her late night theatre-rants during this production and for their continued support of her ambitions.

Maggie is so excited to be joining the cast of Anastasia and being featured as a lady on the streets. She has previously appeared in Alice by heart, Percy Jackson and the lighting theif and Beauty and the beast! She would like to thank her friends and family especially her mom and dad for all of their love and support through this long adventurous journey.

Nathaniel is a Freshman in the Pickens Drama Program and plays the roles of Count Gregory and Ensemble in this production! In the past he has played the roles of Ensemble in Princess and the Pea, Dr. Franklin Schtein in The Bubble Gum Murders, and The Mysterious Man in Into the Woods Jr. He would like to thank his family and Mrs. Harbin for all of their support.

Kai Parker is so in love with having the chance to do this magical show, Anastasia. With already a previous love for the production. Kai is proud to be playing several characters in the show, Drunk #1, Train Announcer, and Count Sergei to name a few, he has been experienced in the world of theatre being in this years “Alice by heart” and “Challenger to touch the face of God” playing the emotional role of Gregory B Jarvis. One of his favorite roles has also been in “Into the Woods Jr” playing “Cinderella’s Prince He would like to thank Mrs Harbin for giving him this chance, and Christian Wright for being an influential and inspiring friend within his passion.

Violet is a Freshman in the Pickens Theatre Program and plays the role of Marfa and Ensemble in this production of Anastasia. In the past, she has been sound in Alice by Heart and Into the Woods Jr, she has also played the role of Man in a Jumpsuit and Young Painter in A Simpler Time. She would like to thank her mother and her father for dealing with the strenuous practice hours that come with this show.

Adalyn is a Freshman in the PHS Drama Department and plays the role of Ensemble and Soloist in this production of Anastasia. In the past she has played the role of Cinderella's Mother in Into the Woods Jr. She would like to thank her parents and grandparents for their support as she takes part in this production.

Destinee is a Freshman in the Pickens Drama Program and plays the role of Ensemble in this production. In the past, she was a card guard in Alice in Wonderland. She would like to thank her old music director for being awesome and taking her as far as she is now.

Eowyn is a Freshman in the Pickens Drama Department and plays the role of Ensemble in this production of Anastasia. In the past she has played the roles of Narrator in Into the Woods Jr., the twin in Princess and the Pea, and Gabriella in It's Not You, It's Me. She would like to thank her Mom for taking her to all of the rehearsals for this show!

Jade is excited to be joining the crew of “Anastasia” as the Stage Manager! Her previous credits include “Beauty and the Beast” and “Alice By Heart.” While not also being in Pride of Pickens Band, Jade also serves as our thespian secretary. Jade would like to thank her friends and family for their support!

Brianna Simmons is happy to be joing the cast of Anastasia. She's appeared as ensamble in Alice by Heart, Richard in challenger: to touch the face of god and Teddy in simpler time. She would like to thank Sophie White and Maddie Adams, her parents, and other friends for supporting her through EVERY rehearsal.

Sammi Carrillo (ASM and Prop Manager): Sammi is excited to do tech for Anastasia and help out backstage for this production. She did theatre previously in her old school with various ensemble roles in Willy Wonka and Grease as well as other backstage roles. She would like to thank her friends for being so welcoming as she joined PHS theatre this year, and her family for their love, support, and prayers!

Levi is happy to be trying tech for the first time in Anastasia! He has previously acted as Duchess in Alice by Heart, Lefou in Beauty and the Beast, Hugo in Tuck Everlasting, and Michael Banks in Mary Poppins. This is Regan’s last show at PHS. She has done sound for almost every show since she started here freshman year. Her previous shows include, Beauty and The Beast, Little Shop of Horrors and The Almost Bride of Dracula. She is currently a student at Chattahoochee Technical College working on her Associates degree in Film and Video Production. She hopes to continue her love for theater in her future career.

Raychel Clayton (sound tech): Raychel is excited to join the crew of Anastasia as a sound tech. She had previously worked as a tech for Beauty and the Beast.
